A well-established, RCVS-accredited 24-hour veterinary hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its dynamic and supportive team in the historic and picturesque seaside town of Brighton. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy hospital environment with a varied caseload, including emergency and advanced medical cases.
About the Hospital:
This purpose-built facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a fully equipped in-house laboratory and dedicated cat, dog, exotic, isolation, and day procedure wards. The hospital supports a highly skilled nursing and support team, working alongside multiple certificate holders with expertise in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, and exotics.
Support:
A fully staffed out-of-hours (OOH) team ensures seamless patient care, allowing for structured handovers and a well-supported working environment. Ongoing professional development is strongly encouraged, with both in-house and external CPD opportunities available.
The Role:
- This is a full-time position, where you will be working 4 days per week
- 1:8 weekend rotation, with Monday off in lieu
- Work alongside a fully staffed in-house OOH team for smooth case transitions
