An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a dedicated team in a friendly, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Thornton Heath, Greater London. This well-established practice is a key part of the local community, offering exceptional clinical care with a holistic, client-focused approach.

About the Practice

They are proud to provide a supportive and collaborative environment, where every team member is valued and encouraged to contribute their ideas. The practice is deeply embedded in the local community, fostering long-standing relationships with clients, some of whom have been visiting for over 30 years. The team is passionate about giving back, regularly participating in charity work and outreach initiatives. With a focus on high standards of surgical and in-patient care, the practice is looking to expand its nurse-led clinics, including well-being assessments and community nursing.

The Role:

The practice is looking for an enthusiastic and committed RVN who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. This position offers a wide variety of clinical responsibilities, encouraging nurses to utilise their full skill set. The role is open to all levels of experience, from newly qualified RVNs to experienced Head Veterinary Nurses. The team also supports clinical coaching, though this is not a requirement. Hours: 40 hours per week (part-time considered). Shifts are between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm. No out-of-hours (OOH) work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering gold-standard nursing care to patients.
  • Supporting surgical and in-patient care.
  • Expanding and developing nurse-led clinics.
  • Engaging in community outreach and client education.
  • Collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Salary: They are offering a competitive salary of between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum (pro-rata, depending on experience).
