Quality Controllers sought by a multimillion pound food products manufacturer to join their team in Bilston. These are permanent, full-time positions, with both AM (5:15 – 14:45) and PM (14:45 – 22:45) shifts available.

What will you be doing? As a Quality Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for implementing quality assurance processes, analysing production procedures, and adhering to HACCP guidelines to maintain product integrity and safety.

Daily Quality Controller duties will include:

  • Conduct regular inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyse data and report on quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implement and monitor HACCP protocols to ensure food safety and quality throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in the development of quality assurance policies and procedures to enhance product reliability.

As a Quality Controller, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quality Assurance or related fields are advantageous but not essential.
