Quality Auditor sought by a multimillion pound food products manufacturer to join their team in Bilston. This is a permanent role on the AM shift: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6pm.
The Role: As a Quality Auditor you will be working as part of the Technical Team, preventing errors in manufacturing or production that lead to product defects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality checks are carried out to the correct customer specification and any non-conformances are reported immediately to the relevant Section Manager, as well as ensuring due diligence, product safety and quality in all relevant departments.
Your duties will include:
- Raw material quality checks
- Inputting data into the online system
- Carrying out traceability checks
- Verifying label placement and information accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP procedures
- Carrying out Critical Control Point (CCP) checks
- Completing paperwork to a high level of accuracy, recording daily QA tasks
- Identifying and reporting any quality, food safety or compliance issues to QA Team Leader and QA Manager
- Auditing quality checks
- Daily checks of factory processes and procedures to ensure compliance and adhere to good manufacturing practices
- Carrying out verification checks of calibration of measuring equipment
- Investigating complaints and resolving issues
- Collecting and collating samples for testing

Your experience as Quality Auditor:
- Experience in quality assurance or auditing within a manufacturing or food production environment is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality management or auditing are desirable
