Product Marketing Assistant (maternity cover) sought by the windows division of a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer based in Ross-on-Wye, within their window products division. This is a fixed term contract role, maternity cover for up to 12 months.
The Role: As a Product Marketing Assistant, you will provide maternity cover within the Product Management Team responsible for the Company’s core range of products for windows and doors. You will provide administrative support in a range of commercial topics such as:
- Strategy implementation
- Pricing
- Market research
- Stock management
- Sales analysis
- New product launches
- Dealing with internal and external stakeholders including UK sales force, Extrusion Factory and Suppliers
- Maintaining the smooth running of the business and help the Company continue to grow in a profitable and sustainable manner.
The successful Product Marketing Assistant will demonstrate:
- Educated to A-Level / HND standard, or qualified through experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- SAP experience is desirable but not essential
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Success at working in a team but also on own initiative
- Good attention to detail with an interest in products and program ranges
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong ‘customer-first’ mentality
This role would also suit a graduate with a year’s commercial experience.
