Product Marketing Manager sought by the building solutions division of a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide, to join their team based at their Ross-on-Wye head office. This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible hours (core hours 10am-3pm), and 50% hybrid working after successful completion of probation.

The Role: Known formally in the business as Product Manager, you will work in the Product Management team for the Building Solutions division, covering underfloor heating, acoustic drainage, plumbing & heating, and pre-insulated pipe for district heating. Your duties will include:

  • Working on commercial topics such as strategy development, pricing, market research, stock strategy, sales analysis, product launches
  • Dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting UK sales force in promoting products
  • Ensuring the business continues to grow in a profitable manner and the UK strategy is fully implemented by the whole team

The successful Product Marketing Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of product management, ideally within the construction products industry
  • Educated to degree level would be ideal; Business Studies or Marketing preferred
  • Experience of creating business plans, data analysis, spotting future trends and adapting business to current market conditions
  • Strong MS Office product knowledge is essential
  • A structured approach
  • Good analytical mind
  • Strong communication skills are key
  • 1-2 years in industry as a minimum
