An experienced Data and CRM Manager is sought by an organisation that plays a key role in influencing education policies. The largest of its kind in the UK, this company is driven by its commitment to making education a great industry to work in.
The Role:
- To plan and implement the development and ongoing maintenance of our clients CRM and its data; and provide user training and support on the CRM to ensure it is fit for purpose and users needs are well supported.
Your responsibilities as a Data and CRM Manager will include:
- To be an expert on our clients CRM and the data it holds whilst maintaining a thorough and trusted understanding of the unions rules, processes and procedures as they relate to access to and the use of union data and the CRM.
- To provide authoritative advice and support to users of the CRM through the provision of advice, support and training, which could be delivered in person, online and by creating briefing materials and videos.
- To ensure that appropriate access to the CRM, reporting and data are in place to support the strategic priorities. These will include the running of industrial action ballots and elections liaising with appropriate staff across the various functions of the union, including the regions and Wales.
- To plan, test and implement necessary improvements or modifications to the unions CRM.
- To audit and cleanse data including analysing data to identify and fix anomalies/faults requiring remedy.
- To develop report and bulk update routines, dashboards and data models and brief relevant users when these become available.
- To deal with non-standard data requests not delivered by existing solutions.
- To undertake other relevant responsibilities as reasonably required.
- To develop key working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- The occasional travel to attend activities, conferences and meetings away from the normal place of work locally, regionally or nationally.
The successful Data and CRM Manager will demonstrate:
- Experience of maintaining and supporting the development of a large and complex CRM, including specification and configuration, audit processes and fault finding / resolution.
- Experience of quickly assimilating and maintaining a sound working knowledge of rules, processes and procedures relating to a CRM.
- Well-developed literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience of exercising judgement and decision-making skills within agreed parameters.
- Experience of evaluating information to respond to a range of queries within established guidelines.
- A proven analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely, for example reports, guidance, system specifications in a range of formats as appropriate.
- Experience of working and contributing at a management level to devise and deliver teamwork plans.
- Experience of the planning and delivery of successful training courses for a range of users.
- Experience of successfully managing relationships with external suppliers.
- An understanding of the principles of organising within a trade union and how this may affect the role.
- The ability to work under pressure and to meet critical deadlines.
- The requirement to work occasional evenings, weekends or flex working arrangements which are necessary for the performance of the role.
- The necessary requirement to maintain sufficient and up-to-date knowledge of rules, principles and legislation including data protection principles.
Benefits:
- £66,030 per annum
