Job Role
As a Utilities Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across all site buildings and facilities to support operational efficiency. The role requires working closely with multiple departments to maintain GMP standards, improve site performance and minimise downtime, analysing utility data, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring all assets are effectively maintained using CMMS systems.
Essential Skills, Experience or Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar Utilities Engineer role
- Broad engineering background within manufacturing or food production
- Experience in facility maintenance and safe working practices, including statutory compliance
- Strong knowledge of PPM systems and CMMS software
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and mechanical services
- Electrical and mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3)
- Ability to follow hygiene and PPE standards
Advantageous Skills, Experience or Qualifications
- Time served multi‑skilled apprenticeship or facilities management experience
- Experience using utility and infrastructure data to drive improvements
