Job Role: As a Night Plant Operative, you will work within a busy recycling plant carrying out general maintenance of site equipment, including stripping, cleaning and refitting machinery. The Night Plant Operativewill support loading shovel operations, undertake general site duties and ensure all activities are completed in accordance with health and safety procedures. This Plant Technician role offers excellent training and development opportunities within a growing operation.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous experience as an operative or technician within a busy workshop, plant, recycling or yard environment
- Good practical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures
- Reliable and self-motivated approach to work
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Experience working with mechanical equipment
- Previous recycling, waste management or processing plant experience
- Loading shovel or other mobile plant experience
