Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, Days

Role Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As a Maintenance Shutdown Planner, you will lead the planning and coordination of site shutdown and turnaround activities across a busy regulated manufacturing environment. The successful Maintenance Shutdown Planner will manage multiple overlapping shutdown cycles, develop integrated schedules, identify critical path activities, coordinate contractor and material readiness, and ensure all outage work is completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations. Working closely with Maintenance, Calibration, Validation, Projects and Production teams, you will drive successful shutdown delivery.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Proven planning and scheduling experience within a heavy engineering or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong project management experience managing multiple overlapping timelines and turnaround cycles
  • Technical understanding of plant equipment and maintenance logistics, including scaffolding, heavy lifting, confined space activities and permit-to-work systems
  • Experience leading daily execution meetings and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Maintenance Shutdown Planner candidates must hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification in an engineering discipline

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • PRINCE2, APM or other formal Project Management qualification
  • Advanced MS Project or equivalent planning software training
