- Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm

Job Role:
As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for designing and manufacturing bespoke tooling solutions within a precision engineering environment. The Manual Machinist will build and repair tools, jigs, dies and moulds while ensuring all work is completed to exact specifications and high-quality standards. Duties include operating manual lathes, milling machines and grinders, interpreting complex engineering drawings, manufacturing bespoke components, repairing existing tooling and utilising CAD/CAM software where required. The Manual Machinist will play a key role in supporting production and delivering precision-engineered solutions for customers.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven toolmaking experience
- Experience setting and operating manual milling machines
- Experience setting and operating manual turning machines
- Previous experience working within a precision engineering company
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Apprentice-trained Toolmaker or equivalent qualification
- The successful Manual Machinist will be confident producing precision components to tight tolerances
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- CNC programming experience
- CNC turning experience
- CAD/CAM experience
- Experience manufacturing bespoke tooling, jigs, dies and moulds
- Broader machining experience beyond manual machining disciplines
