  • £12.50 per hour
  • Hours could be either Days or Afternoons depending on the line you're working on, but the company will be moving to 4 on 4 off Days & Nights in the near future
  • Temporary to Permanent opportunities

For the successful Food Production Operatives our client is offering:

  • £12.21 per hour (pay review after 3 months)
  • Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00
  • Temporary to Permanent position
  • On-site walk around / induction to understand the roles and environment
  • Growth within multiple sections / areas of the business

The Role – Food Production Operatives

  • Packing
  • Cutting blocks of cheese to specified sizes
  • Palletising
  • Unboxing products
  • Heavy lifting up to 20kg
  • Quality checking
  • Deal with rejects from production lines
  • Following food and hygiene regulations on site
  • Working with a team of around 6-8 people
  • Supervise the correct running of various machines ensuring quality finished product
  • Correctly daily/weekly cleaning documents

What our client is looking for in a Food Production Operative

  • Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry – DESIRABLE
  • Must have picking/packing/palletising experience – DESIRABLE
  • Be able to complete/read labels and paperwork when required – ESSENTIAL
  • Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20kg – ESSENTIAL
