Recruit4staff are representing an established, modern state of the art food processing business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Wrexham

Job Details:

  • Pay: £47,255 per annum
  • Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights
  • Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain and continuously improve productive assets, departmental controls and site performance. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, support CMMS activity, reduce downtime and contribute to continuous improvement projects across the factory.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer or in a similar maintenance role
  • Able to fault-find on both electrical and mechanical machinery and systems
  • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical engineering drawings
  • Basic PLC I/O understanding
  • Conversion qualifications to electrical or mechanical disciplines
  • Good understanding of drives, motors, brakes, transmissions, closed-loop feedback and transducers
  • UK recognised electrical or mechanical qualification, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and above

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within the food industry
  • Approved Health & Safety training certificate or qualification
  • Certified to BS7671 2018
  • SCADA or machine-specific control systems experience
  • Experience programming VSDs
  • Fabrication skills
  • MEWP licence

Additional Information

  • The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings, monitor KPI performance and help maintain GMP standards across the site
