Job Role:
As a Building Services Electrician, you will carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across the site, including lighting, sockets and basic fault finding. The Building Services Electrician will also support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, monitor site equipment including boilers, compressors and cooling systems, and assist with general building maintenance such as basic plumbing, carpentry and fabric repairs. You will support site compliance, contractor control, permit-to-work procedures, water hygiene and Legionella requirements while maintaining high standards of safety and building condition.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Building Services Electrician or within a building services or site maintenance environment
- Qualified or time‑served Building Services Electrician
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and decorating
- Multi‑skilled approach across electrical and general maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to site safety, compliance and maintaining high standards
