Job Details

  • Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
  • Hours of Work: 7:00am–4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–12:00pm Friday
  • Duration: Temp To Perm

Job Role

The Stores Assistant / Labourer will support the day-to-day operation of the engineering stores and yard area. Duties include assisting with goods‑in and goods‑out deliveries, correctly storing engineering parts, moving materials between the stores and workshop, and maintaining a clean and organised working environment. As a Stores Assistant / Labourer, you will also undertake manual handling duties and provide general support to the wider engineering team.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
  • Reliable and hardworking approach to work
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment and maintaining high standards of organisation and housekeeping

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • An FLT Licence would be beneficial for the Stores Assistant / Labourer but is not essential
