Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading company, in their search for Assembly Operatives to work in their leading facility based in Stoke on Trent.
Day Shift: 7:30am to 5pm
- Starting pay rate of £12.85 per hour, increasing with a Skills Matrix
- Days position – 7:30am‑5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
- Overtime available – Time and a half during the week & on Saturdays / Double Time on Sundays
- Temporary to Permanent position
- Bonus at Christmas depending on business performance
- Extra 1 day annual leave after 5 years of service
- Extra 2 days annual leave after 10 years of service
Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 6pm‑6am
- Pay rate £16.70‑£18.03 per hour
- Nights position – Monday to Thursday 6pm‑6am
- Overtime available – Time and a half during the week & on Saturdays / Double Time on Sundays
- Temporary to Permanent position
- Bonus at Christmas depending on business performance
- Extra 1 day annual leave after 5 years of service
- Extra 2 days annual leave after 10 years of service
Responsibilities:
- Use of hand and power tools daily
- Assemble a variety of components for vehicles
- Work to production targets
- Report any issues with products to Supervisor
- Work from drawings
- Ensure all products are installed to correct standards
- Fitting shelving/wiring/racking/towbars/lighting etc (night shift only)
Requirements:
- Own hand tools – PREFERRED
- Experience in a similar area
- Must be able to pass a DRUGS test at interview stage
- Ability to read Engineering drawings
- Must be physically fit as this is not production line based work
