Job Role
The Skilled Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a guillotine machine to meet quality standards and production targets while minimising waste. The Operator will maintain excellent housekeeping standards in line with pharmaceutical requirements, complete routine machine maintenance, and follow all company procedures. You will also report any maintenance issues to supervisors to ensure smooth operation.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Skilled Machine Operator or in a similar role operating guillotine machinery (highly beneficial)
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical standards
- Experience setting and operating manufacturing machinery within a regulated environment
- Strong PC literacy within a manufacturing environment
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous experience in packaging or FMCG environments
- Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential)
