Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company, in their search for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands

For the successful Field Service Engineer, our client is offering:

  • Competitive salary paying up to £38,500 Per Annum – Depending on experience
  • Working hours – 8 am-4:30 pm Monday to Friday
  • Permanent Role
  • Company Van & Tools
  • Overtime opportunities
  • On call 1 in every 6 weeks – £150 payment for being on call, and when called out, the first 4 hours is paid at double time
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The role of Field Service Engineer:

  • Covering the Midlands & surrounding areas
  • To maintain, service, and repair our range of load-handling equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts (TMF), truck-mounted cranes, forestry, and recycling cranes, as well as demountable and skip loaders.
  • Responding to enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the company\’s products
  • Completing necessary paperwork
  • Investigating issues that may arise

What our client is looking for in a Field Service engineer:

  • Will have demonstrable technical experience with a similar mobile service role.
  • Possess the necessary experience in working with relevant mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems.
  • Having existing knowledge of some of the following plants would be beneficial: i.e, load-handling equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts (TMF), truck-mounted cranes, forestry, and recycling cranes, as well as demountable and skip loaders.
  • Will need to be flexible about travel, tasks performed, and working hours.
  • Should be comfortable working independently and be an effective problem solver.
  • Will possess excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
