Job Details
- Pay: £50,216 per annum
- Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off – days only 7 am – 7 pm
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: Pension scheme (matched up to 4%), 282 hours annual leave, healthcare cash plan, up to 5% bonus
Job Role
As a Reliability Engineer, you will work as part of a team of 6 to maintain and improve all plant, processes, and assets to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. Your daily responsibilities will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, resealing, rebuilding, and overhauling machinery. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, supporting the Engineering Request System, and ensuring work aligns with food safety and health & safety standards.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Multiskilled Engineer (Mechanically Biased) within a fast-moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environment
- Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
- Knowledge in filling and process technology
- Understanding of clean, fast-moving environments (24/7 – short-life products)
- Time-served apprenticeship
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry
Additional Information
- Contacting OEMs and suppliers for technical support and expediting unavailable parts
- Using CMMS to report defects or symptoms of impending failure
