For the successful Quality Assurance Technician our client is offering:
- Β£13.60 per hour , plus shift allowance on night shift
- Shift Rotation Monday β Thursday 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
- Temp to Perm position
The role βQuality Assurance Technician :
- Perform daily factory inspections, including line changeovers, swabbing, and production checks verification.
- Facilitate product sampling and external laboratory testing, including taste panels and End-of-Line (EOL) assessments.
- Provide training and competency assessments on Critical Control Points (CCP) and QMS policies and procedures
- Update, review, and train staff on Product Information Sheets, Quality Attributes Sheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform process control verification, such as Free Fatty Acid (FFA) tests
What our client is looking for in a Quality Assurance Technician :
- Previous experience of working in a food manufacturing environment β ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience with quality assurance- ESSENTIAL
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, industry standards, BRC and retainers code of practice
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
