For the successful QA Assistant, our client is offering:
- Competitive salary of up to £29,754 per annum D.O.E
- 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 16:30 Friday (39.5 hours per week)
- Company benefits include auto-enrolment pension.
- After a year’s service benefits include extra week’s holiday, life cover, health cash plan plus flexible benefits.

The Role of the QA Assistant includes:
- Checking records from the factory quality documentation
- Closing and raising non-conformances and reviewing weekly trends
- Carrying out regular internal audits on quality aspects of production
- Heavy involvement in customer and external audits
- Challenging quality standards and procedures and identifying areas of improvement where possible
- Any other duties/projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder
- Reporting any issues that arise
- Completing all relevant quality related paperwork
- Adhering to food hygiene standards
What our client is looking for in a QA Assistant:
- Experience within a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
- Experience carrying out internal audits and competently dealing with external audits - ESSENTIAL
- Quality background within a food environment - PREFERRED
- Familiar with food hygiene standards/procedures.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
