As a Production Operative (Wet Spray Painting), you will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of metal components used within the construction sector. The role involves cleaning, prepping, and shot blasting materials prior to applying wet spray paint finishes. You will also operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move materials safely around site and support other departments where required. This position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment handling items of varying sizes and specifications.
Pay: £14 per hour (+ £30 Weekly Attendance Bonus)
Hours of Work: Monday Thursday 7.45 4.30 & Fridays (38 hours per week)
Duration: Temp To Perm
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Production Operative (Wet Spray Painting) or similar role involving wet spray painting
- Proven experience wet spray painting metal
- Proven experience in cleaning, preparing, and shot blasting metal components prior to painting
- Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment spraying various sizes and shapes of products
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (in-house or expired licences will be considered)
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Spray Painting or similar
