Recruit4staff are representing an established public sector organisation in their search for a Street Cleansing Operative to work in Mold.

Pay: £13.26 per hour (overtime paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate)

Hours of Work: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7am - 5pm

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Benefits: Four-day working week, overtime opportunities and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Job Role: As a Street Cleansing Operative, you will be responsible for helping to maintain clean and tidy streets and public areas. Duties will include driving company vehicles, litter picking, collecting and emptying bins, and carrying out general street cleansing duties. The Street Cleansing Operative will work outdoors as part of a team to help ensure public spaces are maintained to a good standard.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving licence is essential for the Street Cleansing Operative position due to the requirement to drive company vehicles.
  • Comfortable undertaking outdoor and physically active duties.
  • Ability to work reliably as part of a team and complete assigned cleansing duties.

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in street cleansing, refuse collection, grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience driving company or commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
  • Experience of litter picking, bin collection or general environmental maintenance would be advantageous.
