For the successful Mechanical Assembler, our client is offering:

  • Starting salary up to £29,000 per annum - Depending on experience
  • Days position 8:45 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
  • Permanent position within a well-established engineering business
  • Overtime opportunities are available
  • Favourable working environment working on a variety of projects
  • 23 days holiday rising to 25 after year 1

The Role - Mechanical Assembler:

  • Assembling a variety of Robotic/Automated equipment from start to finish
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Use of hand/power tools to assemble products
  • Working within a team to build equipment
  • Fitting & Installation of equipment at customer premises, including worldwide travel when required
  • Use of machinery within the workshop

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Assembler:

  • Mechanical Fitting/Assembly experience - ESSENTIAL
  • C&G qualification in Engineering or apprentice trained - Desirable
  • Ability to read from drawings
  • Someone mechanically minded, good with hand and power tools
