Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading Automation in their search for a Manufacturing Supervisor to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Manufacturing Supervisor, our client is offering:

  • Competitive annual salary paying up to £39,000 - (£18.75 per hour) Depending on experience
  • Days based role 7:45am - 5pm with a 12:45pm finish on Fridays
  • Permanent position
  • 23 Days holiday + bank holidays - Rising to 25 Days holiday after 12 months service

The Role - Manufacturing Supervisor:

  • Responsible for leading & motivating a team of typically 5/6 staff, which comprises of Mechanical Fitters
  • Allocating workload out to staff
  • Reporting progress of projects into the Manufacturing Manager on a regular basis
  • Carrying out meetings with the team on a daily basis
  • Liaising with other areas of the Business (IE Purchasing) ensuring sufficient materials are available for builds
  • Planning the workload carefully ensuring you're able to achieve targets
  • Continuous improvement
  • Mentoring staff
  • Involved in relevant disciplinary procedures if necessary
  • Travelling to customers worldwide to oversee staff installing the companies products - Occasionally (Typically can be up to 2-3 times a year for around 2 weeks at a time)
  • Being hands on and involved in the building/installation of Projects
  • Using hand & power tools

What our client is looking for in a Manufacturing Supervisor:

  • Somebody who possesses Mechanical experience and has Supervisory experience
  • This role does involve being HANDS ON so you will be involved in the builds with the team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to lead & Motivate a team
  • Possess suitable Mechanical or Electrical qualifications
  • Able to work away and oversee projects - ESSENTIAL
  • Full UK Licence - ESSENTIAL
