Job Role: The successful Maintenance Technician will work within a busy manufacturing environment carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across CNC machinery, production equipment and site facilities. The role involves fault‑finding, breakdown response and TPM activities to ensure maximum machinery uptime and site reliability. Duties include electrical and mechanical repairs, supporting installation and modification projects, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. This position is hands‑on and site‑based, suited to an experienced engineer with strong troubleshooting skills.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Time Served / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance
- Strong background in multi‑skilled maintenance within a factory or industrial environment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, fault‑find and repair breakdowns
- Experience with planned, preventive and reactive maintenance
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance abilities
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working with CNC machinery
- Exposure to pneumatic and hydraulic systems
