Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a specialist manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility in Gwynedd
For the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:
- Days shifts (39 hours per week)
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 am to 16:30, Friday 07:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- Permanent role
- Free parking on-site
- Early finish on Fridays
The role – Maintenance Engineer :
- Diagnosing and solving electrical and mechanical breakdowns, effectively and efficiently.
- Implement scheduled maintenance on all equipment with minimal downtime.
- Support building maintenance actions and 5S Lean process expectations.
- Keep accurate reports of the elements within any given task, as necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping, a healthy and safe work environment, and the safe use of equipment and machinery.
- Support with the execution of a variety of projects as part of the maintenance team.
What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:
- Proven work experience in a manufacturing facility and equipment maintenance role – ESSENTIAL
- Must hold recognised Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications ESSENTIAL
- Experience of carrying out repair and preventative maintenance for Press Shop, Forging,
and Rumbling operations – ESSENTIAL - Strong knowledge of CNC machine tool service or maintenance – ESSENTIAL
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced with the application of Lean Manufacturing & 5S principles.
