Recruit4Staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading industrial company in their search for an Install & Repair Engineer to work in their leading facility in Bedfordshire.
For the successful Install & Repair Engineer, our client is offering:
- Up to £35,000 basic salary per annum (Overtime at time and a half).
- Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
- A permanent position
- Overtime paid at x1.5
- 20 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Company Pension
The Role - Install & Repair Engineer:
- Refurbishment, repair, and preparation of units for hire including fabrication works, washing and painting
- Repair of containers at customer sites
- Assist and carry out installations of complex container stores at customer sites.
- Perform, input, review and approve drawings and site surveys (QF30) as required prior to installation work.
- Ensure the highest level of safety is always adhered to when on site.
- Complete all H&S paperwork prior to and when commencing installation work including risk assessment, SSWP, training records & certs and equipment records & certs.
- Send through job cards including parts and labour in a timely manner.
- Planning installation & repairs schedule in line with Production schedule
- Deal directly with customers to organise a schedule of repairs ensuring that all required parts are available in the van.
- Coordinate with the Customer & Transport Company dates and time for the work to be carried out.
- Ensure pictures are taken of every job pre and post.
- Any issues or concerns noted during a site install are to be sent to the EHS Manager
- Feedback to Operations team of issues or improvements noted out on site.

- Qualifications in Fabrication ESSENTIAL
- Experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
- Proven ability to interact and deal with customers ESSENTIAL
- Experience with completing work and filling out paperwork ESSENTIAL
- Experience will communicating with other branches and customers ESSENTIAL
- Happy with occasional working away and staying over ESSENTIAL
