Job Role:
As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for working from engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble structures and enclosures using mild steel and stainless steel. The role involves MIG welding of structural components such as ladder brackets, yokes, crossover plates, and stepovers. You'll also operate cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinding wheels, and folding machines, and be required to accurately mark out materials.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Experience in fabrication and MIG welding of structural steel
- Able to work from engineering drawings
- Proficient with tools such as plasma cutters and grinders
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- NVQs in engineering, fabrication, or welding disciplines
