Job Details:
- Pay: £12.50 per hour (Overtime paid at time plus 1/2 over 40 hrs)
- Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm plus overtime as required
- Temp - Perm opportunity
- Starts available from Jan 2026
Job Role:
The successful candidate will work as part of a team undertaking a variety of outdoor horticultural duties. Responsibilities include potting, planting, and pruning trees and shrubs, watering and fertilising plants, monitoring plant health, and carrying out harvesting and packing tasks. You will work in fields or greenhouses in all weather conditions, operate horticultural tools and equipment, and assist with general maintenance of the nursery grounds.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Physically fit
- A team player
- Comfortable with working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to work well with your hands and stand for prolonged periods
- Commitment to two evenings a week and every other Saturday morning in busy winter months
- Ability to work up to 50 hours per week
- Own transport due to location – ESSENTIAL
- Must be over 18

- No experience required – full training provided
