Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for an experienced Fabricator Welder to work from their Knowsley based workshop and attend sites across the North West area.

For the successful Fabricator Welder, our client is offering:

  • Up to £18.00 per hour (PAYE) (Depending on Experience)
  • £22 per hour (CIS/LTD)
  • Core Hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates
  • Ongoing temporary contract

The Role:

  • Working in a workshop & on various sites in the North West
  • Fabricating a range of different products from start to finish
  • Pipe fabrication and welding TIG and MIG welding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Working from engineering drawings to plan and execute pipefitting tasks for both mechanical and electrical projects
  • Working with stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
  • Ensure accurate assembly and installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment
  • Conduct regular quality checks
  • Measure, cut, thread, and weld pipes and tubing to specifications
  • Maintain detailed records of work

  • City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Welding and Fabrication - BENEFICIAL
  • Pipefitting experience - ESSENTIAL
  • Pipe fabrication experience - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience with TIG welding - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings - ESSENTIAL
  • Hygiene Pipe Welding Experience - BENEFICIAL
  • Strong knowledge of various pipe materials, fittings, and joining methods
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Coded or previously coded - BENEFICIAL
  • Driving Licence and access to a car - ESSENTIAL
  • CCNSG Safety Passport - BENEFICIAL
