Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for Food Production Operatives to work in their leading facility in Whitchurch.
For the successful Food Production Operatives, our client is offering:
- £12.21 per hour
- Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Temporary - Permanent position
- On-site walk around / Induction to understand the roles and environment
- Growth within multiple sections/areas of the business
- Career progression / In-house training
The Role - Food Production Operatives:
- Packing
- Cutting blocks of Cheese to specified sizes
- Palletising
- Unboxing products
- Heavy lifting up to 20kg
- Quality checking
- Deal with any rejects from the production lines
- Following food and hygiene regulations on site
- Working with a team of around 6-8 people
- Supervise the correct running of the various machines ensuring quality finished product
- Correctly daily/weekly cleaning documents
What our client is looking for in a Food Production Operative:
- Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Must have picking/packing/palletising experience - DESIRABLE
- Be able to complete/read labels and paperwork when required - ESSENTIAL
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20KG - ESSENTIAL
