Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:

  • Salary of £46,181 per annum
  • 4 week rotational shift pattern (Days & Nights), 12 hour shifts (8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am)
  • Permanent role
  • Canteen facilities on site
  • Free parking
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave

The Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Maintain all machinery to provide optimum functionality
  • Attend breakdowns and diagnose and repair equipment using the appropriate test equipment and tools.
  • Ensure all electrical maintenance tasks are completed on time in full.
  • Conducting all planned preventative maintenance including implementing and developing new processes to resolve maintenance faults, repeat issues and inefficiencies in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Using a CMMS system for the maintenance of stock levels and work orders.

There is also a 5 week cover period, which is taken in turns with all 5 shift Electricians and potentially gives you two lots of this during a full year.

What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Proven experience working in an electrical manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Higher diploma/NVQ electrical qualification - ESSENTIAL
  • 17th or 18th Edition certificate - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to identify root cause quickly and effectively
  • Ability and experience interpreting technical drawings - ESSENTIAL
  • H&S qualified – IOSH / NEBOSH - DESIRABLE
  • FLT licence - DESIRABLE
  • IPAF certificate - DESIRABLE

Commutable From: Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Cannock, Bridgnorth, Dudley, Newport, Market Drayton, Stafford.
