Job Details:
- Pay: £15.00 per hour
- Hours of Work: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday / 08:00 - 14:30 Friday
- Duration: Temp To Perm (14 weeks expected temporary duration)
Job Role:
The Shot Blaster will be responsible for cleaning and profiling steelwork within a busy workshop environment. Duties will include operating shot blasting equipment to prepare steel components to the required standards before further processing. The Shot Blaster may also be required to drive the company van to complete deliveries as required. This opportunity would suit someone with previous industrial workshop experience and a strong understanding of surface preparation processes.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Shot Blaster or within powder coating in an industrial environment
- Experience preparing and profiling steelwork
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work within a workshop environment safely and efficiently
