Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a CNC Setter to work in their leading facility in Halesowen.
For the successful CNC Setter our client is offering:
- Starting pay rate of £15 - £16 per hour
- 7am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday - 37 hours per week
- Free Parking
- Overtime opportunities are paid at x1.5 (Time and a half)
The role - CNC Setter:
- Managing offsets and monitoring quality
- Use of relevant tools (Micrometers & Verniers)
- Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines.
- CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work
- Machining of a variety of materials
- Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centres
- Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Working to different tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings
- Perform routine maintenance of machinery/equipment
- Machining own JIGS and fixtures
What our client is looking for in a CNC Setter:
- Experienced with Fanuc Controls or Heidenhain
- Able to use Measurement Tools
- Able to read from drawings
- Experience machining various materials
- Methodical approach to work
- Able to work on a variety of projects
- Milling or Turning experience
