Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer, in their search for a CNC Machinist to work in their facility in Halesowen.

Our client is hiring for 2 Machinists: 1 CNC Programmer (Miller) and 1 CNC Programmer (Turning). It would be highly advantageous if you have programmed/worked on both milling and turning machinery.

What our client is offering

  • Hourly rate: £15-£20 per hour, depending on experience/programming level.
  • 7am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday
  • Free Parking
  • Overtime opportunities are available

The role – CNC Machinist

  • Programming, Setting & Operating CNC Milling / Turning machines
  • Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines.
  • Develop and write programs for CNC Machines using CAD and Fusion software
  • CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work
  • Machining of a variety of materials
  • Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centres
  • Keep work area and CNC clean, tidy and safe at all times
  • Online & Offline programming
  • Working to different tolerances
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Perform routine maintenance of machinery/equipment
  • Machining own JIGS and fixtures
