Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for Assembly Operative to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.
For the successful Assembly Operative our client is offering:
- Pay Rate of £13.10 per hour
- Monday – Thursday, 14:00 – 23:00, Friday 14:00 – 17:30 flexibility required due to the nature of the business
- Temporary – Permanent position
- Free parking
- Life Insurance – once passed probation period
- Annual profit related bonus – once passed probation period
- Pension and Healthcare plan – once passed probation period
The role – Assembly Operative:
- Perform hands on production and assembly functions including running machines and packing
- Ensure your designated machine is operated in accordance with required production schedule
- Conducting visual checks on the machine prior to operating them
- Ensuring the orders manufactured meet the required customer standards
- Complete all relevant paperwork in relation to the role
- Following health & safety regulations
- Keeping a clean and tidy work area
- Working in a stand alone role
- Meeting daily production targets
What our client is looking for in an Assembly Operative:
- Previous experience in a similar role – ESSENTIAL
- Happy to work a repetitive role within a small team environment – ESSENTIAL
- Be in a good standard of health to be able to work in an upright, repetitive position for the shift duration – ESSENTIAL
- Ability to demonstrate agility with hands to assemble small fastening systems – ESSENTIAL
- Due to site location, own transport is essential
