Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for Assembly/ Machine Operativeto work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Assembly/ Machine Operative our client is offering;

  • Pay Rate £13.10 for rotating shift and £13.52 per hour on permanent nights
  • 1 Vacancies on the following: Monday- Friday 22:00 PM- 06:00 AM (Training will be on a day shift for one week)
  • 2 Vacancies on the following: Two week rotating shift of Mon- Fri 6am-2pm alternate with Monday -Thursday 2pm-11pm Friday – 2pm-5:30pm
  • Temporary – Permanent position
  • Free parking
  • Life Insurance – once passed probation period
  • Annual profit related bonus – once passed probation period
  • Pension and Healthcare plan – once passed probation period

The role – Assembly/ Machine Operative;

  • Perform hands on production and assembly functions including running machines and packing
  • Ensure your designated machine is operated in accordance with required production schedule
  • Conducting visual checks on the machine prior to operating them
  • Ensuring the orders manufactured meet the required customer standards
  • Complete all relevant paperwork in relation to the role
  • Following health & safety regulations
  • Keeping a clean and tidy work area
  • Working in a stand alone role
  • Meeting daily production targets

What our client is looking for in a Assembly/ Machine Operative;

  • Previous experience in a similar role – ESSENTIAL
  • Must be happy to do a couple of weeks training on a day or afternoon shift
  • Happy to work a repetitive role within a small team environme nt – ESSENTIAL
  • Be in a good standard of health to be able to work in an upright, repetitive position for the shift duration – ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to demonstrate agility with hands to assemble small fastening systems – ESSENTIAL
  • Due to site location, own transport is essential
