Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in their leading facility in Whitchurch. For the successful Mechanical Design Engineer our client is offering: Competitive salary paying up to £40,000 depending on experience Days based role Monday to Friday 39 hours per week – 8am-4pm or 7am-4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays Permanent Position within a well established Engineering business Pension scheme The Role – Mechanical Design Engineer: Managing a variety of projects at any given time Working on current project ranges and improving/modifying on existing designs Working with departments across the business to report on the status of projects Preparation of technical documentation Liaison with customers when required Ensuring all designs being produced are to the required standards Designing using 2D & 3D – Solidworks Project management What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Design Engineer: Strong 2D / 3D design based skills Qualified within a Mechanical Engineering discipline – Advantageous Proven ability to meet deadlines Strong communication skills Strong working experience with Solidworks
