Job Details:

  • Pay: £26,000 Per Annum
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, Days - 8:30am until 5pm, weekend availability (1 in 6 Saturday)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Company events, Cycle to work scheme (2 years), On-site parking, Wellbeing team, Standard pension, 20 + Bank Holidays

Job Role:

The Operations Assistant will support the Operations Manager with day-to-day planning and coordination across the transport operation. The successful Operations Assistant will assist with efficient routing of fleet vehicles, respond quickly to operational issues, provide excellent customer service over the phone, support drivers with queries, and complete general office administration duties within a busy working environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a fast-paced transport operation
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and phone etiquette skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as an Operations Assistant
