Job Role:

The Purchasing Coordinator will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for the timely ordering of all production and non-production consumables and services. You'll ensure supplier activity complies with company policies, purchasing procedures, and meets standards of cost, quality and service. Supporting both site-specific and wider group procurement initiatives, you will deliver a cost-effective, efficient service to both internal and external customers.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within a purchasing role
  • Awareness of materials and supply chain used in production
  • Relevant experience of statistical and trend analysis
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Working towards or interested in starting MCIPS qualification
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing purchasing environment
