Job Details:
- Pay: £52,255 per annum
- Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights
- Duration: Permanent

Job Role:
As an Engineering Team Leader, you will deliver engineering shift support by leading staff, contractors, communication, policies, and procedures to maintain and improve productive assets and site performance. The Engineering Team Leader will act as the shift point of contact for engineering, support improvement projects, manage planned and unplanned maintenance through CMMS, and drive performance against KPI targets. This role also involves coaching, mentoring, problem-solving, and supporting continuous improvement across the team.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Experience within electrical or multi-skilled engineering with an electrical bias
- Industry-recognised engineering qualification
- Proven track record of achieving improvements within area of responsibility
- Able to fault find across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose circuit drawings
- Ability to drive continuous improvement performance while leading others
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Commercially aware and financially aware
- Flexible approach to shift cover and busy trading periods
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous experience supervising or managing a team in an FMCG environment
- Poultry processing experience
- Knowledge of CMMS
- Effluent treatment plant experience
- Legal compliance knowledge
- An Engineering Team Leader with food manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous.
