For the successful Workshop Fitter, our client is offering: Competitive salary paying up to £33,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday (Days 8am[-4:30pm on Fridays) with a 30 minute lunch break Permanent vacancies within a expanding business Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours. Pension scheme Ongoing training and future development Death in service Company Pension Health Care scheme The Role – Workshop Fitter: Fitting of a variety of products onto a variety of Trucks Hydraulics work Working from engineering drawings Use of hand and power tools Carrying out necessary repairs where required Carrying out installation work (Fitting of a variety of products onto the backs of Wagons) Wiring Installing cranes on to the back\’s of Wagons Bolting up What our client is looking for in a Workshop Fitter: Previous fitting or mechanical assembly experience – ESSENTIAL Good Engineering knowledge Knowledge of Hydraulics Experienced working from engineering drawing – ESSENTIAL Fitting experience working on HGVs is highly advantageous.
