Recruit4staff are representing a leading FMCG manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Droitwich.

Job Details:

  • Pay: Up to £53,000 per annum + 5% annual bonus
  • Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Free parking, pension matched up to 8%, 276 hours holiday, life assurance and health care cover

Job Role: The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing faults and carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment within a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement through effective fault analysis and maintenance planning. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will use planned maintenance systems to prioritise work, liaise with OEMs and suppliers for technical support and parts, analyse recurring breakdown trends, and accurately record all engineering activity using an electronic maintenance management system, while working in line with ISO 9001:2000 quality standards and departmental 5S programmes.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG industry
  • Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
  • Recognised Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship
  • Willingness to work in a cold environment

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • IOSHH and/or NEBOSH certification
  • Experience reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights. Commutable From: Worcester, Tewksbury, Gloucester, Birmingham, Coventry, Kidderminster.
