Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a FLT Driver to work in their leading facility in Whitchurch.

For the successful FLT Driver, our client is offering:

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00
  • Temporary - Permanent position
  • On-site walk around / Induction to understand the roles and environment
  • Pay review once permanent, usually increases to £13.71 depending on performance
  • Growth within multiple sections / areas of the business
  • Career progression / In House training

The Role - FLT Driver:

  • Packing
  • Palletising
  • Unboxing products
  • Heavy lifting up to 20kg
  • Loading and unloading
  • Liaising with transport
  • Following food and hygiene regulations on site
  • Working with a team of around 6-8 people
  • Supervise the correct running of the various machines ensuring quality finished product.
  • Correctly daily/weekly cleaning documents

What our client is looking for in a FLT Driver:

  • Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry - DESIRABLE
  • Counterbalance Forklift licence - ESSENTIAL
  • Must have picking/ packing/ palletising experience - DESIRABLE
  • Be able to complete / read labels and paperwork when required - ESSENTIAL
  • Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20KG - ESSENTIAL
