Job Role: The Production Team Leader will lead and manage a high-performing manufacturing team, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production operations within a cGMP aseptic environment. The role ensures day-to-day manufacturing activities are completed in line with the production schedule, with full utilisation of resources. Working closely with Engineering, the Production Team Leader will ensure planned preventative maintenance, calibration, and validation activities are completed on schedule, while maintaining full cGMP documentation compliance and driving Right First Time performance through KPI-led continuous improvement.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production Team Leader or similar role within pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Strong competency within cGMP aseptic filling facilities, including drug product formulation
- Degree qualified in Life Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Extensive manufacturing or technical experience in a cGMP environment
- Experience with RABS or isolator systems
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma problem-solving techniques
- Basic microbiology knowledge
- Experience using SAP, MRP, or electronic manufacturing systems
