Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Vehicle Body Builder to work in their leading facility in Wolverhampton.
For the successful Vehicle Body Builder, our client is offering:
- Competitive starting rate paying up to £14.50 (£29,406)
- Days - 7am - 4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays
- Permanent Position within a thriving company
- Salary reviews
- Regular Overtime opportunities paid at time & a half after 39 hours are completed
- IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SUITABLE CANDIDATES

The Role - Vehicle Body Builder:
- Assembling waste handling equipment for commercial vehicles
- Assembly/Fitting of Hydraulic/Pneumatic & Electrical systems to systems/vehicles
- Installation and maintenance of hydraulic piping systems and airlines on HGV's and trailers
- Working to high standards at all times
- Fitting a variety of products onto a range of HGV's
- Regular use of hand & power tools
- Working from engineering drawings
- Achieving production targets
- Welding - Although this is a minimal part of the position
What our client is looking for in a Vehicle Body Builder:
- Body building / Vehicle building experience
- Mechanical Aptitude/Mechanical Assembly experience - ESSENTIAL
- Ability to use hand & power tools
- Experience in working from drawings
- This role would suit somebody who enjoys working around Cars/Vehicles/Commercial Vehicles
- Ideally you'll be able to weld but this is a minimal aspect of the role
