Job Details:
- Pay: Up to £16.20 per hour (Depending on experience)
- Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 07:00–12:30 (37.5 hours per week)
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: Company pension paid at 4% matched, 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
Job Role: The Press Brake Setter/Operator will be responsible for setting and operating Trumpf-controlled press brake systems in a manufacturing environment. Duties include working with sheet metal from 1.0mm to 6.0mm thickness, producing components up to 4 metres in length, interpreting technical drawings, programming CNC press brakes, and ensuring high standards of quality and inspection. The Press Brake Setter/Operator will also continuously improve existing programs.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Press Brake Setter/Operator setting and operating CNC press brakes
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Experience using various measuring equipment
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- Online and offline programming experience
- CAD / CAM programming knowledge
