Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company, in their search for a Panel Wirer to be based from their head office in Whitland, Pembrokeshire.
What our client is offering for the successful Panel Wirer:
- £32K to £37K, depending on experience
- Working hours: 8 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday
- Ongoing training & development in panel wiring & automation work
- Permanent position
- Overtime opportunities paid at time/half after standard hours in the week & Saturday and double/time on Sundays
- Company pension scheme

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
The Role - Panel Wirer:
- Working in their workshop, completing panel building work initially
- Working from drawings & electrical schematics
- Marking out control panel component mounting plates to the layout drawings
- Fitting components with suitable fixtures
- Determine suitable wire types and sizes
- Using hand & power tools
- Completing basic automation work (repeats/building HMI building)
What our client is looking for in the successful Panel Wirer:
- Minimum of NVQ/City & Guilds level 2 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
- Full driver's licence
- Previous experience of industrial electrical engineering work - BENEFICIAL
- Previous experience of LV/MV panel wiring/building - BENEFICIAL
- Able to read electrical schematics & engineering drawings
- Ability to learn while on the job
- Willingness to complete tasks outside of the designated role
