Recruit4staff are representing a well-established structural steel fabrication business in their search for a Plater to work in Skelmersdale.
Job Role: Working within a busy workshop environment, the Plater will be responsible for fabricating structural steel components by reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Duties include plate preparation using oxy-fuel gas cutting and hand grinding, assembling parts using welding, bolts or rivets, and finishing components to meet high-quality standards. The role also involves operating various fabrication machinery and following health and safety protocols at all times.
Job Details:
- Pay: £37,897.60 per annum
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm
- Duration: Permanent
- Overtime Rules: Overtime paid at x1.5 & x2 of basic hours
- Benefits: Overtime available after hours and on weekends, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Birthday leave, Buy & Sell up to 5 days leave per year, Medicash Health Benefit, Referral Scheme, Pension
